Sawston Rugby Club

Yep its the end of the season (well nearly) and its time to drink so much that we forget the last 7 months. The Sawston Rugby Club Annual Dinner is always a memorable occasion although ironically, I can't really remember much of the last one! There will be the usual speeches, barracking of Mr Toombs, Nudger necking an entire bottle of wine in less than 6 seconds and Alan salsa dancing with your girlfriend/wife.

For the measley sum of just 20 English pounds you get all this as well as your dinner and the heart warming knowledge that you are supporting your friendly local rugby club.

Its on 16th May and the doors open at 6.30 with food served at 7.30

Dress code is black tie or as smart as you can.

The organisers need to know definite numbers in advance so that they can order the right amount of booze and food etc. So if you want to attend you need to call:-

Want to play rugby?

We're a friendly rugby club based in Sawston near Cambridge that runs two teams and plays regular games on Saturdays. Training is at 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights and we run our own bar. If you're interested please email Justin Curtis or just turn up at the club - click here for directions
