-- Notice Board -- Last updated 7 Mar 2010 Only a day to go – The Heineken Cup Final – Sawston Style In the last of this weeks interviews, our intrepid (and now frightened reporter) talks to Peter “Fluffy” Hume, long time Sawston front row and self confessed genius**. Reporter: You are in the front row on Saturday, what made you take up propping? Fluffy “bloody Wilf put me there one afternoon, I’m really a number 8, but because I am fat and I talk with a Darlington accent everyone assumed I was stupid enough to be a prop. As it turns out I didn’t cry that much so I play there most of the time these days” Reporter “Do you think we'll beat Mildenhall on Saturday?” Fluffy: “of course. yeah! come on!” Reporter: “what are your highlights of the season?” Fluffy: “Beating the Spaniards.” Reporter: “On a scale of one to ten - how good has Wilf been as captain this year (10 being brilliant)” Fluffy: “12 but I believe Bob is the best Captain ever…” Reporter:” You have played rugby with Sam on several occasions this year - can you see him being called into the national squad for the next 6 nations?” Fluffy: “Well, now Tom Shanklin has dislocated his shoulder, I think there is a Sam-shaped hole in the Lions squad. Obviously Sam would just trip over the hole, drop the ball and go off and play for another club, but it’s still a Sam shaped hole.” Reporter: “Has Christopher Shaw ever propositioned you in the showers?” Fluffy: “I don't want to talk about it.
