Unfortunately there are no longer any players with the bravery of Terry Butcher and it is against my principles to advertise football matches but desperate times call for desperate measures!
The clubhouse will be showing most of Englands matches in the imminent World Cup on the big screen.
Unlike all of the pubs in town, we welcome large groups of pissed up men and can offer significantly cheaper beer. Why not get a few mates together and come down and watch? You'd be doing your club a huge service and getting pissed and having a good time. It's a win-win. Also, I don't want to tempt fate but I actually think we're in with a chance of winning the bloody thing. It'll be us or Spain I reckon.
The dates of the group matches that are being shown are:-
England V USA - Sat 12th June, 7.30pm
England V Algeria - Fri 18th June, 7.30pm
Then obviously we'll be showing the quarters, semis and the final too!
It should be a great laugh.
