Second Team - win again

The second team faced Letchworth Stags away from home last weekend and came away with a 43 - 19 win. The game wasn't as easy as the scoreline suggested and sawston were made to work very hard for the win. Tries from Nick, Nick Y, Whizzy, Kieren (2) and the legendary Tom Genillard (2).
Martin made his comeback after a long lay off with a bad back and has lost little of his considerable talent. Greta to have him back playing - I do however see quite a long rehabilitation process in the second team before returning to the firsts.... excellent!!!
There were a few "man of the match" performances on the day. Serge was back for the day and put in a very solid performance, Kierans two tries were a joy to watch, USA John after failing to sort out his Algerian visa was back and he regularly broke through the opposition back line, "The Legendary" Tom G thrilled spectators with yet another great outing, Man of the Match however was Theo, soaring like an eagle through the air in the line out and maximum effort in the loose.

Keiran is now averaging over a try a game (we obviousley need him to play more)!! Dave P and Kieran lead the try scoring chart with Sean, Dan B, Whizzy and Nick Y just a try behind.
Glen is yet to score this season.
