Haverhill 2nds vs Sawston 2nds
|
Haverhill 7 Sawston 22
It was a mixed outfit on both sides last weekend Firsts and seconds from both teams clashed and again Sawston came out on top.
Sawston were the stronger team throughout the match going ahead with tries from Dan Aldridge and Dan Beaumont and someone else, a DROP GOAL and two conversions from Chris "the Crash" Reed. Haverhills only response was a late try after a long period of pressure on the Sawston Line.
Yellow cards were earned by Wayne for a little altercation with an old friend and Jamie Lang for stamping all over everybody (mostly wilf) just yards from the referee.
"Great looking" captain Bob Tidswell later stated "we could have had more points on the day - we should have gone out wide where have been fantastic all season - but you can't be critical - thats the double over Haverhill this season - bloody brilliant!!"
The web site can also report this week - that the Lap dancing club "Heaven" in Newmarket is a lot of fun and a club outing should be planned soon.
