Seconds player of the year

The award winners have been announced.
Second team player of the year is Nick the scrum half (pictured here after the recent gay production of guys and dolls) in a very close run battle. Nick narrowly edged it after a great season - including a record recovery from a broken arm.
Players of note who were all in contention were Tom "Rene" Genillard, Dan B, Theo, Nick Y, Serge, Beast, Sean, Whizzy, James, Dave, Dick, Dave, The Volcano, Andy Dew .... to be fair we all had a brilliant year - with the exception of Glen who scored no Trys.
For the Record we scored 87 trys this year converted 36, scored a few penalties, had 4 severe back injuries, one broken collar bone, one knocked out, one broken arm and Dan kott had serveral bad hangovers....
We also beat Shelford, Cantabs and Haverhill over three consectutive weeks..awsome

We're a friendly rugby club based in Sawston near Cambridge that runs two teams and plays regular games on Saturdays. Training is at 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights and we run our own bar. If you're interested please email Justin Curtis or just turn up at the club - click here for directions
